How far does your area of operation extend?

We cover the whole of French-speaking Switzerland and even part of German-speaking Switzerland.

  • Vevey and Fribourg with Ducret Frères SA

What is sanitation?

Sanitation consists of cleaning, maintaining and rehabilitating pipes to ensure the safe disposal of waste water and rainwater.

At Liaudet Pial SA, this includes:

  • High-pressure cleaning and hydrocleaning
  • Video camera inspection (to detect leaks, cracks, roots)
  • Trenchless repair (lining)
  • Prevention of overflows and pollution
  • Sustainable improvement of networks

What is the difference between Liaudet Pial SA and the Liaudet Group?

Liaudet Pial SA specialises in drainage and unblocking in French-speaking Switzerland, with branches in Geneva, Lausanne and Biel.

We are part of the Liaudet Group, which includes:

  • Kupfer & Fils Ltd
  • Ducret Frères SA
  • KanalFritz GmbH

In addition, AlloFuites handles leak detection.

We also develop eco-friendly solutions with Wellamo (water fountains) and Biohuile (recycling used cooking oil into biodiesel).

What are your eco-friendly commitments?
  • Green mobility: hybrid and electric vehicles, eco-friendly driving
  • Plastic reduction: water fountains, water bottles, elimination of PET bottles
  • Waste sorting and recovery: oils converted into biogas
  • Clean technologies: camera inspection, trenchless lining, systems to limit water pollution

These actions have enabled us to obtain the EcoEntreprise label with Excellence rating.

How can I tell if my pipes are blocked or damaged?

Common symptoms:

  • Bad odours
  • Slow drainage
  • Unusual noises in the pipes
  • Water backflow

A camera inspection allows us to diagnose the problem without causing any damage. Contact us for a quick response.

How often should you maintain your pipes?

Preventive cleaning is recommended every 2 to 5 years, depending on:

  • The age of your network
  • Your usage (domestic, commercial, industrial)

Regular maintenance prevents blockages, bad odours and extends the life of your installations.

What is lining?

Lining is an environmentally friendly technique for repairing pipes internally without digging trenches.

A resin-impregnated liner is installed inside the pipe, creating a new watertight conduit without excavation, reducing waste and disruption.

Can I unblock my pipes myself?

Yes, for simple blockages (hair, grease), a plumber’s snake or hot water may suffice.

Avoid chemicals: they are polluting and dangerous for pipes and health.

If the blockage persists, our teams will respond quickly and cleanly.

Why is sanitation essential for the ecological transition?

A healthy drainage system prevents invisible pollution and sewage leaks.

We contribute to this transition by using:

  • Clean technologies
  • More energy-efficient equipment
